Prima Coffee is an online speciality coffee equipment supplier based in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Prima belongs to a line of family owned and operated businesses which has been in the food service industry since 1947. Since its inception, Prima has been involved, not just in online sales of speciality coffee equipment, but also in helping to encourage the third wave of coffee movement in the Louisville region. ==Barista Bash 001== On March 26, 2010, Prima hosted its first "Barista Bash" in Louisville which was featured in Barista Magazine,〔()〕 with the desire of exposing the Louisville coffee community to unique coffee, coffee brewing methods, and coffee equipment and encouraging the Louisville coffee community to build relationships around a common love of speciality coffee.
